We’re constantly releasing new features at Railz!

Summary of what’s new in the August Railz release:

• Ability to subscribe to a connection disconnected webhook event
• Ability to sync Attachments & Tracking Categories from QuickBooks Online & Xero
• Ability to upload Attachments to Invoices & Bills in QuickBooks Online & Xero
• Ability to create Tracking Categories/Classes in QuickBooks Online & Xero
• View Business Valuations in the Reports page of the Dashboard

Why is the ability to subscribe to a connection disconnected webhook event valuable?

With the ability to subscribe to a connection disconnected webhook event, you will now be able to build re-authentication flows or build custom actions when notified about a disconnected connection. For example, you can redirect a business to Railz Connect™ to reconnect their accounting service provider.

Why is the ability to sync Attachments & Tracking Categories from QuickBooks Online & Xero valuable?

With the ability to sync Attachments & Tracking Categories (also known as Classes) from QuickBooks Online & Xero, you can now sync and pull attachments such as receipts, official bills sent by vendors, or invoices sent to customers in the accounting service provider to validate the authenticity of those items or capture supporting documentation.

Why is the ability to upload Attachments to Invoices & Bills in QuickBooks Online & Xero valuable?

With the ability to upload Attachments to Invoices & Bills in QuickBooks Online & Xero, you will be able to attach supporting files to invoices and bills such as quotes or product specifications.

Why is the ability to create Tracking Categories/Classes in QuickBooks Online & Xero valuable?

With the ability to create Tracking categories you can see how different areas of a business are performing (such as departments, cost centres, or locations) above the standard categorization that the Chart of Accounts offers.
