Product Updates April 2022: Enhanced Accounting API integrations for Sage, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics and Oracle Netsuite.

Support for managing receivables solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Railz now supports manage receivables solutions in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Customers will be able to retrieve & push the below through the Dashboard and/or API:

• Customers (pull only)
• Inventory
• Invoices
• Invoice Credit Notes
• Invoice Payments
• Tax rates (pull only)

Support for Wave accounting integration

Railz now supports Wave as an accounting service provider. Customers will be able to retrieve & push the below through the Dashboard and/or API:

Increased support for managing payables and receivables solutions in Oracle Netsuite

Customers will be able to retrieve the below through the Dashboard and/or API:

Increased support for manage payables solution in Sage Intacct

Customers will be able to retrieve the below through the Dashboard and/or API:

Support for pushing Estimates to Xero

Railz now supports pushing estimates to Xero. Customers can now create receivable flows that outline the cost of work that a customer needs to be done before issuing an Invoice.

Support for tax and financial benchmarking data through Sandbox

Customers can consume tax benchmarking data and financial benchmarking data in the sandbox to better test their applications in development environments.

New financial ratios

Railz now supports receivable and payables financial ratios. Customers can now access the ratio below through the Dashboard and/or API to better understand the health of their business customers:

• Accounts Receivable Turnover Ratio
• Accounts Payable Turnover Ratio
• Days Payable Outstanding
• Days Sales Outstanding
• Average Outstanding Payables Balance
• Average Outstanding Receivables Balance

Introduction of a pagination object for transactional endpoints

Railz API response has been updated to include a pagination object for all transactional endpoints. Customers can now build an application that can easily page through the result sets returned by the Railz API.

Expanded API filter parameters

Railz API has been improved to support additional filtering capabilities:

• Filtering on nested child parameters.
• Wildcard filtering for any string field, including child parameters such as line-level descriptions.
• Amount filtering for any numeric field, including child parameters such as line-level amounts.

Customers can query for invoices that contain a line item description, bill payments for a specific vendor name, invoices with specific line amount values and more!

Railz Connect Authorization Flow

Railz Connect has been updated (non-breaking change) to open the authorization page for cloud-based accounting service providers in a new centred window instead of a tab. Businesses trying to connect to their cloud provider will no longer face issues caused by browser privacy settings (e.g. pop-up blockers in Safari and Firefox).

Support viewing more reports in the Dashboard

Customers can now view and download Bank Reconciliation and Probability of Default data through the Reports page in the Dashboard.

Revoke app permissions when disconnecting Xero connections

Railz now revokes a business application permissions and access token when a connection is disconnected.
