Documentation and Support

To support your integration process, we have updated our documentation with detailed guides, code examples, and frequently asked questions related to the new features. Our dedicated customer success team is also available to assist you every step of the way.

What happens to those of us using API V1?

Rest assured, there will be no change to our current API, and you can continue using it without interruption, until a deprecation notice is issued from the Railz team. We understand the importance of maintaining stability for our users, and your existing integration will not be affected.

What if I am just starting to build with you?

The choice is yours! While the current API will remain available for now, it's important to note that our new API will become the standard in the future. We recommend considering the new API for your integration to leverage its enhanced features and future-proof your solution.

When will the Version 1 API stop being supported?

The Version 1 API will continue to be supported at this time. However, in the near future if something works on our V2 API but not our V1 it will not be fixed. With that said, we will provide ample time and communication regarding the deprecation timeline to ensure a smooth transition.

When should I consider rebuilding my platform with the Railz API?

We value your partnership, and we understand that rebuilding your platform is a significant decision. We will provide our customers using the Version 1 API with plenty of advance notice regarding the deprecation timeline. This will give you ample time to plan and initiate the transition to our new API, ensuring a seamless migration when the time is right for your business.

What does this mean for me today? Next Quarter or next year?

In the short term, there will be no immediate impact on your current integration. You can continue using the Version 1 API as usual. However, we recommend starting to plan for an update to our new API as we move into 2024. While the transition is not imminent, preparing for the future will ensure you can take full advantage of the enhanced features and benefits offered by our version 2 API.

What does it mean that Version 2 API is Beta?

API versions labeled as Beta may experience minor breaking changes before transitioning to the stable version. We advise exercising caution when utilizing Beta API versions and taking the necessary steps to ensure a seamless integration into your applications.

In Conclusion

Don't let stagnant data, or incomplete insights, hinder your decision-making process. With our version 2 API, you can overcome these challenges and thrive:
